Sustainability Manager (m/f/d) at SPIES: A role with an impact

At SPIES Kunststoffe GmbH, sustainability is at the focus of everything we do. When I set up and expanded the sustainability department, I knew our efforts would go far beyond the usual. Now that I have handed over the responsibility to a valued colleague, I can look back on a time full of challenges, learnings and successes. But the search for the perfect addition to our team continues, and I'm taking this opportunity to dive deeper into the role and what it really means.

The position as a Sustainability Manager (m/f/d) is unique at SPIES and offers the chance to play a key role in shaping our corporate vision of a more sustainable future. It's not just about leading autonomous projects, but also about engaging and mobilise the entire SPIES community around this cause.

The role in action

At the heart of our sustainability ambitions, your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic planning and implementation: Developing and implementing sustainability strategies which position SPIES as a sustainability leader.
• Reporting: Ensuring that our activities meet internal and external requirements, including communicating our progress and challenges.
• Promoting internal and external dialogue: As the voice of sustainability at SPIES, you will keep the discussion alive, inform about our efforts and promote awareness of sustainable practices.
